As founding partner of the firm, it gives me immense joy and pride to see KDB counted amongst the leading law firms of the country. We have come a very long way since we started our journey from a tiny office located in the basement of a building in South Delhi nearly 24 years ago, with two partners, one associate and two staff. We grew rapidly and in less than ten years we had to move offices many times as we outgrew the space. Then we paused to think. And, we took a considered decision to stay a small boutique firm that focuses on personalised services to clients and earns both, their respect and loyalty. We have succeeded in doing exactly that with a large number of our clients continuing with us for over two decades. It is my honour to be the managing partner of the firm and lead a dedicated and illustrious team. We look forward to be of value to you should you require any services in the areas we practice.view more
A key component of an effective and efficient insolvency system is the role undertaken by the insolvency professional. A robust insolvency system seeks to achieve the appropriate balance between the debtor and its creditors, rehabilitation and liquidation, as among creditors, while preserving their negotiated right and ensuring that preferential transactions are appropriately managed and misfeasance is effectively addressed. The insolvency professional plays an important role in getting this balance correct and in effecting the insolvency proceeding in a timely manner and should arguably be a key driver of the process.
